2015. - Defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kragujevac.
2014. - Elected as an assistant professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Kragujevac.
2011. - Completed specialization in internal medicine.
2002. - Completed specialist training for organizational development at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.
2001. - Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kragujevac.

Since 2006 - Employed at UCC Kragujevac, at the Clinic for Pulmonology.
2004–2006. - Assistant at the Department of Medical Biochemistry of the Faculty of Medicine in Kragujevac.

Asst. Dr Ćupurdija is the author of a large number of scientific works in the field pulmonology, as well as pharmacology and pharmacoeconomics. With his scientific contribution, he actively participates in the improvement of diagnostics and treatment of lung diseases.
