Dr sci. honey Milan Radovanović is a specialist in internal medicine and a subspecialist in cardiology, head of the Department of Specialist Cabinets with the Day Hospital of the Cardiology Clinic of the University Hospital Kragujevac.

Milan Radovanović was born on April 3, 1968. in Rudno (Kraljevo).

He completed secondary school education, educational profile laboratory technician for microbiology, in 1987 in Kraljevo. He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kragujevac in 1993 with an average grade of 9.19.

At the same faculty, he enrolled in master's studies in cardiology in 1994. That year, he established a working relationship at the Faculty of Medicine as an associate on research projects in the field of cardiology. In 1996, he defended his master's thesis entitled "Individualization of the dosage of antiarrhythmics", prepared under the mentorship of prof. Slobodan Janković.

Specialization and academic work

He enrolled in the specialization in internal medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade in 1994, and at the aforementioned faculty he obtained the title of specialist in internal medicine in 1998.

At the Medical Faculty of the University of Kragujevac, he was an assistant in the course Medical Physiology in 1996 and 1997.

At the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kragujevac, he defended his doctoral dissertation with the topic "Effects of a pulsating electromagnetic field on the cardiovascular and respiratory system of rats", prepared under the mentorship of prof. Mirko Rosic.

Since 2000, he has been engaged in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kragujevac (in the capacity of assistant and docent, currently in the capacity of assistant with a doctorate), where he held the position of secretary of the department until 2010.

In 2024, at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kragujevac, he defended his thesis from a narrow specialization (field of cardiology) with the topic "The importance of ambulatory ECG monitoring in patients with atrial fibrillation in setting the indication for the installation of an electrical heart rhythm stimulator", under the mentorship of prof. Goran Davidović.

From 1997 to 2012, he worked at the Center for Emergency Medicine, where he held the position of director in 2000 and 2001, and from 2007 to 2012, he was the head of the Reception-Diagnostics-Polyclinic Department.

Since 2012, he has been working at the Cardiology Clinic of the University Clinical Center Kragujevac, where he has been the head of the Department of Specialist Offices with Day Hospital since that year.

He is the co-author of the monograph "Electromagnetic Field and Biological Systems" (published by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kragujevac, 2008), the author of the chapter in the textbook "Emergencies in Medicine" (published by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Kragujevac, 2006; edited by Prof. Milet Poskurica) and the author of the chapter in the monograph "150 Years of Kragujevac Medicine" (published by the Kragujevac District Branch of the Serbian Medical Association, 2010, author Zoran D. Matović).

He is the author and co-author of 23 papers published in their entirety in international and domestic journals, of which 8 in journals from the SCI list.

He is a member of the Serbian Medical Association and the Medical Chamber of Serbia.

He is married to Mirjana, an anesthesiologist at the Anesthesia Service of the University Clinical Center Kragujevac, with whom he has two children.
